Refund and cancellation policy

We refund our service fee in full at any point before we submit your filing. Once it is submitted the work is done, and government fees are gone for good — states and the IRS do not return them.

Last updated 18 September 2026 · Register Quick LLC is a service of Quick LLC · All policies

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to every order placed with Quick LLC through Register Quick LLC, whether you order for your own company or a partner firm orders for you. It sits alongside our terms of service. Where the two describe the same thing, this page is the more detailed one on money.

Two kinds of money appear on every order, and they behave differently. Our service fee is what you pay us for the work. State filing fees and other government charges are passed through at cost and shown separately at checkout — see pricing for the current split on each plan.

2. The single most important line on this page

Once a filing has been submitted, our service fee is no longer refundable, and state fees are never refundable at any stage. The service fee has been earned, because the preparation, checking and submission are the work. The state fee has left our hands and gone to a government office that does not return it, whether the filing is accepted, rejected or later cancelled by you.

We would rather you read that before you pay than discover it afterwards.

3. Before we submit anything

If you change your mind before we send anything to a state or to the IRS, email us and we will refund our service fee in full. We deduct only a government fee we have already paid on your behalf, because that money is already spent.

This is the widest refund we offer, and it lasts until the moment of submission — not until a cut-off time or a fixed number of days. If nothing has been filed, you get our fee back.

4. If a state rejects the filing

  • We correct and resubmit at no extra service fee. Rejections are a normal part of filing. Fixing them is included in what you already paid.
  • A new state fee may apply if the rejection came from information you gave us — a name that was already taken, an address the state would not accept, an owner detail that was wrong. Some states keep the original fee and charge again for the new submission. We tell you the amount before we resubmit and never charge it without asking.
  • If we cannot get the filing accepted at all, we refund our service fee. If the state has kept the government fee, we cannot return that part, and we will show you exactly what was paid and to whom.

5. If the mistake is ours

If we file in the wrong state, spell the company name differently from the way you gave it to us, or fail to submit something we said we would submit, we fix it at our cost and refund our service fee for that item. You do not pay twice for our error, and you do not pay the correction fee.

This does not cover a decision a government office made on a correctly prepared filing, or a consequence of information that was wrong when you gave it to us. Those are covered by sections 4 and 6.

6. EIN applications

An EIN application is refundable until we submit it to the IRS. After submission our fee is earned in the same way as any other filing.

The IRS decides how long an application takes and we cannot change that. Delay at the IRS is not grounds for a refund, and we do not promise a specific date. If an application is rejected for a reason we can fix, we prepare and resubmit it without charging our fee again.

7. Registered agent service and annual renewals

  • Cancel before a renewal is charged and there is no charge at all. We tell you before each renewal, and you can cancel from your account or by emailing us.
  • After a renewal is charged, you can ask for a refund within 14 days — as long as we have not yet provided that year's service and have not filed anything for that year. In that case we refund the renewal in full.
  • After those 14 days the renewal is not refundable. The agent appointment is already in place for the year with our US filing and registered agent partner, and the address is already on record with the state.

Before you cancel registered agent service, appoint a replacement agent or dissolve the company. A company without an agent can fall out of good standing and the state can charge penalties.

8. Tax filing add-ons

Where a plan includes US federal tax filings, the work is carried out by an independent tax preparer. These add-ons are refundable until the preparer starts work on your return. Once work has started the fee covers time already spent and is not refundable.

9. Duplicate and accidental charges

If you were charged twice for the same thing, or a charge went through that you did not intend to make, tell us and we refund it in full. There is no time limit and no deduction on a duplicate charge.

10. How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] and include your order number and a sentence about what you want refunded. We reply within 5 business days.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within 5 to 10 business days of approval. That last step is handled by your bank or card issuer, and the timing is theirs rather than ours. We cannot send a refund to a different card, account or person.

11. Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please ask us first. Most refund requests are settled by email in a few days, and we would rather fix the problem than argue about it with a bank.

If you open a chargeback, be aware that we may pause work on the company while it is investigated, including filings and registered agent service. Bank investigations can take weeks, and a pause at the wrong moment can cause a company to miss a state deadline.

12. Currency and bank costs

We charge in US dollars and we refund in US dollars, for the amount we actually received. If your card or bank converted that into another currency, the rate on the refund may differ from the rate on the payment, and your bank may keep its own foreign exchange, cross-border or card fees. Those amounts never reach us and we cannot refund them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to an order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
